Search Guidance: Please note that by clicking on the NJ Tax Court link below you will be redirected to the NJ Tax Court website. In order to perform a Tax Court case search please follow the istructions as listed below. Print this page or make notes for reference in proceeding with your case search.
Navigation Required:
First: Click on the NJ Tax Court link below.
Next: Scroll down and click on "docketed lists" (blue & bold).
Next: Click on "Open State Tax Cases PDF" (blue & bold).
Note: You should now see a list of active cases dating back approximately 15 years.
Note: Review the cases for name, tax type, and/or any other information of interest.
Next: Write down the Year and Docket Number for the cases(s) of interest.
Note: This information is listed under the Case Title column (top left of page) with the first four numbers
being the case's year and the remaining six numbers being the case's docket number.
Next: When all case Years and Docket Numbers are writtern down, go back to the Tax Library page
and select the NJ Tax Court - Review Individual Cases box and follow the instructions listed.
Note: You must first register with the NJ Tax Court to review each/any case.
